Flax, or flax, is a genus within the flax family. The various species of flax are annual, biennial or perennial herbaceous plants. There are also semishrubs or shrubs, some of which are evergreen. They have short-lived flowers that bloom blue, yellow, red, pink or white. Some species of this genus are used for fiber or seed production.
Herkunft:
An exact origin is difficult to pin down. Flax is thought to be native to Mediterranean Europe, Central Asia and North Africa, but too much water is detrimental to flax. The common flax (or seed flax) probably originated in what is now India.
For a rich harvest, it is recommended that the water supply is ensured during flowering.
