Dragonheads are a genus of plants belonging to the labiates family (Lamiaceae) and are found mainly in Asia. They are used as ornamental and medicinal plants. They are annual or perennial herbaceous plants that grow up to 1 m tall, but more commonly up to 50 cm tall. They are readily visited by insects. The shoots of Turkish drake can be used like lemon balm and also smell like it.
