Description

Pleasant nutty and yet somewhat acidic taste, these are the characteristics of summer purslane. It grows particularly quickly and easily when grown outdoors and provides high yields in a very short time. Summer purslane contains high amounts of iron and omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce cholosterol levels.

Growing tips

Cut the young plants 4 - 10 weeks after sowing, the plants sprout again. Older leaves become hard and bitter.
