The fruits of the late summer raspberry 'Tulameen' are large and have a very good, moderately sweet, aromatic flavor. The bright, medium-red, glossy fruits are easy to pick, easy to transport and keep well. They are excellent for fresh consumption and all other uses. This summer variety can be expected to be harvested late, from the beginning of July, with regular high yields. With its healthy growth, the 'Tulameen' raspberry reaches a height of around 1.2 to 1.8 meters. It is not completely hardy, but is not overly susceptible to yield fluctuations, botrytis, cane diseases or phytophthora
Non hybrid
Frostproof
The early raspberries bear on two-year-old wood, so the shoot (2-year-old) should be cut off close to the ground after harvesting, leaving the one-year-old canes standing.
