Growing tips

Germination from 18°C after 8-10 days, optimal 20-22°C. Cover seeds only very lightly when growing. 0.2 cm sowing depth. Sufficient light is important. As soon as leaflets are visible, prick out into small pots and cultivate further at approx. 16-20°C. From mid-May into the open, connection to a support frame/rod is recommended. Harden off beforehand and watch out for frost. Preferably sunny, warm and protected from wind. Fruits ripen in the room. Possibly support pollination by hand. Fertilize every 14 days as soon as fruit set is visible.
