This F1 hybrid bears rather smaller, dark purple to black shiny fruits with a mild flavor. With a height of 60 cm to 1 m, the 'Black Pearl' eggplant has a climbing habit and is around 40 - 60 cm wide. It bears its purple flowers from July to September and the fruit can be harvested from August. Uniform and high-yielding.
