Description

the giant melons can weigh up to 30 kg. After harvesting before the first frosts, the yellow-green fruits can be stored at room temperature for up to a year. Unripe melons contain a lot of pectin and are therefore often processed with other fruit to make jam or jelly. The flesh is also pickled sweet and sour or made into chutneys, pickles and relishes.
