Description

Candela di fuoco is a historic Italian radish and translates as "candlelight". The long, pointed, ruby-red roots have a firm, white flesh and can grow up to 16 cm/6.3 in long. The radish impresses with a juicy, mildly spicy flavor. Delicious as a raw food with spicy dip and above all very healthy. Ideal for decoration, eating raw or in salads and as a garnish. Growing tips

Sowing every 2-4 weeks is recommended. Habitat: Sunny-half shady. Germination after 5-14 days at 8-20°C/46-68°F. Water regularly. Too dense stand and lack of water will cause sprouting. Harvest radishes at 3 cm/1.2°F in diameter or smaller to provide more air for the remaining plants and prevent fuzziness, cut off foliage.
