Description

Volhart 3 is a fast-growing, frost-hardy variety that forms a full-hearted rosette. Lamb's lettuce is a very healthy winter vegetable because of its high vitamin C and A content. A lettuce with a pleasant, fresh, nutty flavor. To harvest crisp, fresh leaves, do not cut when frozen. Grows in any loose, nutrient-rich, weed-free garden soil.
