Description

Upright variety with 25-30 cm/9.8-11.8 in long white uniform stems and dark green foliage for harvest in autumn. High yielding. Germination after 15-20 days at 16-20°C/61-68°F.

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

A mixed culture with carrots is recommended. Mounding brings longer stalks with higher white content. Water and fertilize regularly. Sensitive to waterlogging. Plant out 6 weeks after emergence. Good preceding crop for other vegetables. Cultivation interval: 3 years. Do not plant near other leeks. Protective nets from April to May or a mixed crop with celery, radish or wormwood help against the leek moth.
