Beschreibung

Forget-me-not, also mouse-ear or magic herb is a genus within the family of broad-leaved plants (Boraginaceae). They are used as ornamental and medicinal plants and are annual to perennial and herbaceous. The flowers occur in blue to purple, rarely yellow, white or pink.

Anbautipps

Seeds itself again. Also good in partial shade and with tulips or other spring flowering plants. Different varieties have different requirements for soil. Sow from late May to late July, forget-me-nots will bloom in 2nd year. Can also be grown in advance. Cover seeds lightly with soil, germination occurs after 14-21 days at 18°C. Propagation also possible by cuttings or division. Winter hardy.
