Beschreibung

Old French Heirloom variety. Long thick tender green spears with purple tips and excellent flavour. Can be blanched white. Early maturing, can be picked from the second year (a year earlier than most other varieties).

Anbautipps

Sow as early on in spring as possible (March-April), planting 2-3 seeds a pot. Transplant outdoors once the seedlings are large enough to handle. Avoid harvesting asparagus heavily until the second year. Ensure their outdoor soil is well-drained and positioned somewhere that gets sun or is in partial shade.
