The stonecrop is a little-known culinary herb for winter harvesting with a pleasant cress-like to woodruff-like aroma. Contains plenty of vitamin C. Delicious in salads, in a wild herb pesto and much more. Biennial, rare native wild herb, neophyte in some parts of Germany. The occurrences in Central Europe are partly indigenous and partly neophytic. Draba muralis is mainly native to the Mediterranean region and grows as a short-lived pioneer plant in nutrient-poor grasslands, bushes and earth cracks as well as on embankments and walls. Growth height: 10-30, rarely 40 cm
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Light germinator. Do not cover the seed, just press down. Keep moist. Cultivate like lamb's lettuce - in a greenhouse, in a tub on the balcony or on the windowsill.
