Description

Jamaican Red' is a typical Jamaican chili variety with an intense, fruity aroma and decent spiciness. The plants grow compact and bushy with dense foliage and grow to about 90 cm tall. The lampion-shaped, slightly wrinkled fruits ripen to a bright red, are thin-walled and yet juicy. The flavor is reminiscent of apricots and citrus with a slight smoky undertone. The chilies are great for making salsas, hot sauces, as well as pickling and drying. Scoville 30,000 - 100,000 SHU
