Description

Lombardo is a mild pepperoni - variety with 10-15 cm long and 2-3 cm thick fruits, the first light green pods ripen red and have an aromatic, mild flavor. Also for greenhouse. Good for pickling. Germination after 15-25 days at 22-28°C.

F1 Hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, more likely 25°C). A bright location is also important. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruits. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
