Tomato Honeycomb is an attractive golden-orange cherry variety. It has a higher sugar content than Sungold and tastes deliciously sweet when ripe. The plants are vigorous and robust, the fruits hang on long trusses, but the best yield is achieved when grown in a greenhouse. The fruits have an exceptional flavor with a high level of sweetness and an aftertaste that has been described in tastings as "like honey". A cordon type that has a low resistance to late blight and the fruit splits less than Sungold.

Not frost resistant
Sow the seeds under glass 0.5 cm deep in pots or trays with good sowing soil and cover them lightly with a layer of vermiculite or compost. Place the containers in a propagator at a temperature of 18-21 °C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into 9 cm pots. Transplant into the greenhouse soil or individual large pots or 3 plants per growbag when they are 20 cm high. They can also be planted outdoors as soon as there is no longer any risk of frost. The plants must be planted sideways and supported to achieve an optimum yield. Water and fertilize the plants regularly with a potash-containing feed as soon as the first fruits have set. Pick the ripe fruits and water regularly, but not too much, so that the small fruits do not burst open.
