The Rosella tomato is an outstanding British variety. It is a remarkable deep pink cherry tomato with a very pronounced fruity flavor. The flavor is reminiscent of a complex blend of raspberries, blackberries and other summer fruits, making Rosella unique among modern tomato varieties. Rosella produces high-yielding tomatoes with a particularly attractive appearance.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow the seeds under glass 0.5 cm deep in pots or trays with good sowing soil and cover them lightly with a layer of vermiculite or compost. Transplant into greenhouse soil or individual large pots or 3 plants per growbag when they are 20 cm high. Can also be planted outdoors as soon as the danger of frost has passed. Plants need side budding and support to get the best yield. Water and fertilize the plants regularly with a potash-containing feed as soon as the first fruiting stage has been reached.
