Pear-shaped, green-yellow cocktail tomato with a very good, spicy, fruity-sweet aroma. Green Pear was bred by Terroir Seeds from Arizona USA and released in 2009. The variety is a real mass producer with numerous trusses with up to 11 fruits weighing 15-30g. The fruits can still be stored well after harvest. The variety is also very robust and practically never affected by diseases. The very sturdy plant grows to a height of approx. 2.5 m and produces a very good yield. Ripening time: medium-early (70 days).
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Tolerates several shoots and is quite undemanding. Watering tomatoes: Depending on whether you are pre-planting tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often. Further growing tips for the Cocktail pole tomato species.
