Romanian cocktail vine tomato, translated from Romanian Rosii Marunte means "small tomato". Very tall-growing, likes to grow on multiple shoots on a trellis. Small (2-3 cm), sweet, red fruits, bears until the first frost. Each vine produces between 6-10 tomatoes with a sweet and sour aroma. The skin is very thin, but cracks are rare. Very resistant to blight and drought tolerant, so can be grown unprotected outdoors. Mass bearer, very reliable and also bears fruit in cooler temperatures.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Germination: 7-10 days at 20-25°C. In terms of height, it is recommended to cut the top of the shoot from 2 meters, or to pull on strings up to 3-3.5 meters, anything above this would no longer ripen in Germany. Ripening time 50-80 days (medium-early). Further cultivation tips for the species Cocktail pole tomato.
