Description

The Mignon dahlia is a small variety (up to approx. 50 cm high). It enriches the garden with a colorful mixture of unfilled flowers and sets accents in white, yellow, salmon, orange, pink, light and dark red. It flowers from the first year and can be overwintered easily (frost-free). If grown early, it has a very long flowering period. Growing in pots and containers works excellently. Unfilled flowers generally have significantly more nectar, are a great bee pasture and are therefore more important for biodiversity than filled flowers. Dahlia as a vegetable: Petals, but also the entire dahlia tuber, are edible! The tubers are starchy, healthy and have a great spicy aroma.
