Deep-rooted, perennial green manure plant that collects nitrogen. Grows to a height of between 5 and 30 cm. Particularly suitable for lime-rich soil. Cold and drought tolerant. Valuable for many insects.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Sow outdoors from March to September in a sunny position. Also grows in poor soil, but good soil is important for harvesting delicate leaves and flowers. The plant propagates mainly by sowing. The abundantly formed seeds germinate at around 20 degrees Celsius. Horn clover is a perennial and deep-rooted clover species that is particularly adaptable and ideally suited to calcareous soils in dry locations. Very good regrowth capacity. Due to its very good rooting, horn clover can also survive dry periods well. Disease-resistant and hardy down to -28 degrees. Suitable for gravel beds, flower meadows or rock gardens. Loves sunny locations.
