Description

Info: Hillbilly tomato is a beautiful yellow-pink-orange marbled flesh tomato from West Virginia (USA), which was bred already around 1880. The tomatoes are soft and juicy and have an intense tomato aroma with a fruity note. They are plump and grow to about 300 to 700 grams. They are suitable for fresh consumption and for cooking. The plants need a warm place and they should be staked out. Growing tips

Care: Hillbilly tomatoes you can grow indoors, greenhouse and also outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up germination by presoaking the seeds overnight in a damp cloth. You should plant out the pre-pulled plantlets only after the last frost.
