"Outdoor Girl" is a tomato variety from Scotland with robust, determinate growth. The rather small-fruited variety is ideal for outdoor cultivation and is one of the most cold-tolerant varieties around. The plants are very robust, resistant to diseases and can cope with different growing conditions. The tomatoes also ripen very early. They grow to around 1.50 meters tall and bear a variety of red tomatoes weighing up to 150 grams. Sometimes the fruits have a slight yellow-striped coloration. The round, bright red fruits are deliciously aromatic, sweet and juicy. For salads and for eating fresh from the bush, but of course also for cooking. High yield.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Ripening time: approx. 60 days. Due to their determinate growth, vine tomatoes do not need to be thinned out. They should nevertheless be given a support to bear the weight of the fruit. Watering tomatoes: Depending on whether you are propagating tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often.
