Beautiful blue-orange-yellow medium-sized tomatoes with light yellow flesh and a fine, fruity sweet taste. The 4-6 cm large fruits vary in shape from round pointed to flat-round. Their color also varies with the season and the individual plant. Some plants have more orange-red, carmine-blue ripening fruits, others have light yellow to orange-yellow-blue colored tomatoes. In summer, the fruits are more yellow when fully ripe and more blue in the fall. The flesh remains yellow-orange. The flesh varies from light yellow to chimney red. Towards fall, the fruits remain blue even when ripe for consumption. Fruits that are ripe enough to eat can be easily pressed. Only unripe fruits are still firm. They are rather juicy fruits with thin, soft skin. This variety is best grown in a greenhouse or in a warm outdoor location with a rain cover.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Pre-grow indoors from the end of February to mid-March. Ideal germination temperature 22° - 25°. After germination, place in a sunny and very bright window in a cooler place. The less light is available, the cooler the young plants must be kept to avoid overgrowth. Plant out after the last frosts from mid-May. Tomatoes are heavy feeders and need a nutrient-rich potting soil, but over-fertilization with nitrogen should be avoided.
