Bianca' is a robust, indestructible cherry tomato. It has the characteristics of a wild tomato and can withstand rainy weather as well as sweltering heat. It thrives in the greenhouse, in containers or in the open field. Whether wild tomato or not, it is in any case an easy-care, very disease-resistant variety that requires almost no care. I let the 'Bianca' grow on a trellis in the open ground, don't stint it and only tie it up a little so that it doesn't lie on the ground. You can also grow it lying on straw, but then you should allow plenty of space. 'Bianca' produces a lot of leaf mass at first and grows really big. Later, masses of small panicles appear, each with 6 to 8 mini tomatoes. These are best harvested whole, as the firmly attached fruits tear easily when plucked. I start harvesting towards the end of July and finish in the fall with the first frost. Until then, new delicious fruits keep growing on the bush.
