The round fruits of this salad tomato weigh about 90g. Pole tomatoes grow about 2m high and need support on sticks or spirals. Regular pricking out improves fruit size and ripening. Tomatoes love a nutrient-rich soil. Regular watering and fertilizing, and a sunny, sheltered location will increase yield. Transplant into protected open ground from mid-May (frost-free).
