Start with a four-week pre-cultivation period and sow the seeds about 0.5 cm deep at warm germination temperatures of 22 to 28 °C. The seedlings need consistent warmth until they sprout after about 1.5 weeks. When transplanting later, make sure to choose a sunny location with plenty of light and maintain a planting distance and row spacing of 50 cm each.
