Growing tips

The hardy 'Licapo' shearling cabbage can be harvested particularly early in the year and provides high-quality early vegetables from April. The mildly nutty leaves can be harvested until May and also from October to November and prepared like spinach. The leaf stalks of older leaves should be removed before preparation, while the leaves of younger plants can be used in their entirety. As a winter oilseed rape, 'Licapo' can easily overwinter in the bed and is therefore easy to care for. Sowing later in the year is possible from the end of July to September. They can then be harvested from October.
