Description

As a carpet-like growing plant, the grass star reaches a size of 5 cm to 15 cm and grows 5 cm to 15 cm wide. This deciduous perennial has medium green leaves. They are lanceolate. Rhodohypoxis baurii produces pink flowers from June to August. The grass star prefers a sunny spot. Well-drained, loose and slightly acidic soil contributes to healthy growth. The grass star is used in rock gardens and steppe gardens. Rhodohypoxis baurii has a low water requirement.
