Description

The small-leaved periwinkle is truly enchanting in any location. Whether on slopes, under trees or for planting on embankments, this beautiful and robust ground cover plant displays its lavishly rich blooms in April to May. The genus Vinca minor comes from the dogbane family (Apocynaceae). Throughout the summer, the after-blossom is a feast for the eyes. Its dense growth makes it very difficult for weeds to get through. As a robust and undemanding plant, this ground-covering and carpet-like perennial feels at home in compacted soil. It is recommended to plant it 25 to 30 centimetres apart when propagating it together, so that this beautiful plant emphasizes its attractiveness around trees and walls. It is a popular plant for garden planting with the essential possibilities of covering the base of trees and the edge of walls.
