Growing tips

The brown-red flower color is the primary decoration of the perennial. The strong and attractive shades are particularly effective in bright sunshine. It is not necessary to prune Sedum telephium 'Herbstfreude' in the fall. Even in the winter months, the stonecrop is a great sight in the garden. Tall stonecrop 'Herbstfreude' sheds its foliage in winter. Only the faded flower spikes remain on the stems and are a decorative sight in the garden in frost and snow. The perennial also looks beautiful in a large planter and embellishes balconies and terraces. When the first rays of sunshine herald the arrival of spring and the night frosts end, it is time to prune.
