Description

This beautiful ornamental grass brings life to any garden bed. The feather bristle grass 'Red Head' starts with its reddish inflorescences and deep green foliage. The Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Red Head' (bot.), also known as the lamp-cleaning grass, makes an enchanting sight in the garden bed as a solitary plant or in a group. The special feature of this plant is its bottle-brush inflorescences. They shimmer reddish at first and turn brown after a short time. They form a delicate crown above the green foliage. The grass is a feast for the eyes in beds or borders. This robust and ornamental grass also adorns dry flowerbeds or rock gardens in beautiful water. This delicate ornamental grass can be planted on its own or as a wonderful companion to any plant, providing a beautiful and low-maintenance frame.
