Description

Pattison Blanc is an edible squash, sometimes equated with the Pattison variety "Custard White". White to creamy white, UFO-shaped, non-vining, very decorative. This French squash variety has flat, plate-shaped, white fruits that are used like zucchini. Harvested young as a summer squash, Patisson Blanc squashes do not need to be peeled and have a very subtle zucchini flavor. Growing tips

When sowing, put 2-3 grains per 9 cm pot or per seed site and cover 2-3cm. Leave only the strongest plant. Germination in 5-8days at 20-24°C. Pumpkin grows especially well on compost heaps. Pre-cultivation in pots is better than direct sowing. After the germination period, place in a bright place. Pumpkins prefer humus, loose, warm soil in a sunny, sheltered position, need a lot of heat and plenty of water.
