Description

SPERLI's BIO bitter lupine is an annual legume that contributes to natural nutrient enrichment, soil loosening & regeneration. It lives in symbiosis with nodule bacteria, which are able to bind nitrogen from the soil air & is particularly suitable as a precrop of vegetables with high nitrogen requirements (e.g. cabbage). The dense planting as a pre-crop reduces the emergence of weeds & protects the soil from erosion. A cultivation break of 5 to 7 years should be observed and waterlogging & calcareous soils should be avoided.
