A variety adapted to our climate with a good yield. The still unripe pods can be prepared as a vegetable. From September (when they shed their leaves and the pods turn brown), use the dry beans for storage, for tofu, as sprouts or cooked. The leaves make good animal feed.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
As an extremely heat-loving legume, soybeans prefer a location in warm climates. It does not normally cope well with harsh locations and late frosts, but this variety tolerates our climate quite well. Locations in a sunny to semi-shady position are well suited. The soybean needs a soil that warms up easily in order to thrive. It should be moderately heavy and its structure should prevent waterlogging. A slightly acidic to neutral, calcareous soil is also recommended.
