Red-skinned variety from the Netherlands with very high yields. The medium-sized, attractive tubers have a good taste. Désirée tolerates dry summers without irrigation. Desiree has no special soil requirements. The variety is very vigorous in its juvenile development and covers the rows very quickly. The uniform, not too large tubers cook predominantly firm in constant food quality until spring. Désirée stores very well. (From biogartenversand.de)
