The original garlic from the Isle of Wight, which is particularly well suited to the British climate. The best garlic in terms of eating quality and shelf life. Hard, dense bulbs that exude a presence all of their own. Long shelf life - until April and beyond. Elegant bouquet that retains its flavor when cooked. Large, white bulbs that are easy to braid. The most beautiful garlic that can be braided and hung in the kitchen.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Garlic grows best in a sunny location in light, well-drained soil. Plant the cloves upright, with the flat base facing downwards and planted 15 cm apart to twice their depth in the soil. They need very little care: cut off the flowers when they appear and keep the area weed-free. Make sure you water regularly as soon as the weather is dry. Add a little all-purpose fertilizer in autumn and several times in spring.
