Description

The mini kiwi 'Issai' is a climbing plant just like its large-fruited relative. The tasty, berry-like fruits ripen slightly earlier than those of the large-fruited Actinidia deliciosa. Actinidia arguta 'Issai', also called mini kiwi or kiwi berry, has oval-shaped fruits about three centimeters in size at most. They have a smooth, green, edible skin. Their flesh is green and studded with black, tiny seeds.
