Instructions

Description

Native to Asia, evergreen and perennial grass belongs to the frost-sensitive plants and should ideally winter at 10 ° C. Its foliage leaves develop an aromatic fragrance. Some species also develop small bulbs. Both leaves and bulbs are used for many dishes and teas due to their fresh, aromatic taste. It goes well with fish, poultry, and seafood. In some Asian dishes, such as Thai curry, it is an integral part. For cooking rather the light bulbs are used, for teas the leaves are used. Image by EDDIE LEE on Pixabay.
