Cocktail tomato for raised bed and window box, Rotkäppchen is a compact growing variety from Germany. The proven hobby gardener variety is particularly suitable for a pot culture on the balcony or terrace. It forms small, round, aromatic and juicy fruits. The individual, medium-red tomatoes grow up to 50 grams. You can eat them directly from the bush, but it is also excellent as a splash of color in the salad or for decoration.
Non hybrid
Tomatoes you can grow indoors, greenhouse and even outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up germination by presoaking the seeds overnight in a damp cloth. You should plant out the pre-pulled plantlets only after the last frost.
