The taste is typical of so-called black tomatoes and is very aromatic, spicy and slightly smoky. Good for soups and sauces. Grows only about 1.5 m/1.6 yd tall. Robust and insensitive to dryness. Old and late variety that often takes more than 75 days to ripen after pollination.
