Description

An old variety of vegetable with red flowers and decorative, winged pods. The young pods have a slight asparagus flavor and are used in much the same way as snow peas.

Growing tips

-A sunny location promotes growth and flower formation. -Harvest the pods young, then they are particularly tender and aromatic. -Regular harvesting promotes new pods. -Can be grown in beds or raised beds.
