Description

Wide, pear-shaped, blue-gray, attractive fruit. The flesh is slightly orange, firm with a nutty taste. Fruit weight about 1-3 kg. Blue Ballet can be stored for a long time. Edible skin. Climbing. Germination after 6-15 days at 20-25°C/68-77°F.

Growing tips

In April into the manure bed in half-filled pots, which are later filled with soil or from May directly into the open field (note the risk of late frost!), germination temperature optimal at 15-20°C/59-68°F soil temperature, harvest from August to September before frost, storage at least 15°C/59°F, requires good fertilization and wide spacing.
