The 'Jarrahdale' squash is a variety native to New Zealand. Since the plants cannot tolerate cold, they thrive best in a sheltered, warm location. With enough space in the garden bed, this variety can grow wonderfully.
Plant the seeds about 1.9 cm deep in the soil. When planting, maintain a spacing of 68.5 cm between plants and 121.5 cm between rows to give the squash enough room. Since 'Jarrahdale' is not cold-hardy, you should protect the plants from low temperatures and late frosts.
