Description

F1 hybrid. High yield, high fruit set. Good shelf life. Orange, teardrop-shaped Hokkaido variety with orange, nutty flesh. Peel is edible. Less susceptible to powdery mildew than Uchiki Kuri. Suitable for growing in tubs, as only slightly climbing. Fruits grow to 1-1.5 kg. Germination after 8-14 days at 15-20°C/59-68°F.

Regularly water and fertilize. Good at the compost heap. Sensitive to frost. Protect with a fleece on cold nights below 10°C/50°F. Sheltered position.
