The Evolution of My First Little Vegetable Garden🪴
I planted the herb spiral last year.

The vole mesh has already proven its worth. Of all places, a mole has now appeared right here. It’s been digging through the wood chips along the way.
As far as I’m concerned, he’s welcome to stay and eat all the snails, but I do feel a little sorry for him that he somehow ended up in the wrong place.

Hast du einfache Klinker verwendet oder welche Steine sind das?
Genau, Backsteine aus einem Altbau. Das ist mein erstes derartiges Beet, wir haben nicht gemörtelt, weil ich den Standort dieses Jahr erstmal ausprobieren wollte. Wir haben viel Hang und das ist der einzige halbwegs gerade Ort.
Bisher hält alles ganz gut. Mal sehen wie das alles dann den Winter übersteht…
Ich überlege etwas ähnliches am Kompost zu machen als Begrenzung. Ich kämpfe mit mir, Mörtel oder nicht… Ich befürchte, ich müsste es dort machen, damit es etwas aushält… optisch hat es was! Auch, dass es hinten höher ist und die Sonne fängt!
